Ghost writing includes writing sections of your work to assist with the following: 


Proofreading

Proofreading is the final step in writing before publication. It corrects mechanical errors such as spelling, grammar, punctuation, word usage, tense errors, etc. The goal of proofreading is not to rewrite large sections of the book. It is only to catch errors in the technicalities of writing. Proofreading includes in-line edits. 

Line Editing

I will review your manuscript for word choice, readability, and artistic intent. 

What can you expect to be addressed in a line edit? 

Beta Reading

I will read your manuscript as a reader - not as an editor - to provide feedback from a reader's point-of-view. This will not include line detail or developmental feedback. 


Outline Review

I will review your outline to determine where further action or character development will be needed when writing. This can also include coaching you in developing your outline.
